Bohdan Bunchak was born 1995 in Bolekhiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, into a family of an Orthodox priest; he is the fifth child out of six.
Studied at the Department of Fine Arts at the Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University (2013—2018) and Kyiv Academy of Media Arts (2017—2018).
Ex-serviceman, participant of the Russia-Ukraine war. Demobilized after being wounded. Currently he is a student of the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy.
Currently, Bohdan is a fellow of the INDEX: Institute of documentation and exchange (Lviv,
Ukraine). Based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Last years a selection of Bohdan’s last works was presented in Augarten Contemporary, Vienna (Austria), Museo De Las Artes, Guadalajara (Mexico), Galeria Labirynt, Lublin (Poland), Asortymentna kimnata, Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine), Khanenko museum, Kyiv (Ukraine), Ukrainian house, Kyiv (Ukraine).
