Olga Stein (Kalynovska-Kravchuk) (b. 1997) is a Ukrainian artist who graduated from the Lviv Academy of Arts in 2018 and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv with a degree in restoration in 2020. 2015 — 2018 practiced at the Bandinelli Palace Museum and worked as a restorer in temples. 2020 Graduated with a master’s degree from the Kyiv Academy of Arts, Department of Restoration.
2019 Internship at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
Since 2019, she has been founding and curating the artist-run space thesteinstudio and related information projects. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Olga has participated in many international residencies (including also CARV residency) and exhibitions, focusing her practice on working on sculptures, zines and work with the latest materials. The key projects of recent years were solo shows in Paris in May 2022 , London in October 2023, and in Odessa National Fine Arts Museum may 2024, 91einundneunzig galerie Frankfurt am Main German 2024
Since 2024, Olga has been a co-founder and co-editor of the platform that supports the emergence of critical texts about contemporary Ukrainian art “By text”.
